The Whangarei Beach 2
Basin is part of the the
Sport Northland Run/Walk
Series involving seven
events designed to
encourage Northlanders to
get and stay active.
The 9km run attracted
557 entries with 798 in the
5.7km run, 624 in the
walking category and 25 in
the pram section.
The events offer
'stepping stone' distances
that increase with each
event -- designed to help
you to build up to the final
event of the year, the
